The archbishop with the body of the Archbishop of Albania, Anastasi, has arrived in Tirana.

The faithful gathered at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ for tribute to the head of the Orthodox Church, who died in a hospital in Athens a few days ago.

The greek prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, will also attend the tribute to Archbishop Anastas, accompanied by five ministers of his cabinet.

All the metropolitans of the country will be participating, representatives from foreign embassies in our country, a delegation from the Vatican, representatives of other religious communities, the Patriarch of Israel, Alexandria and Cyprus, and representatives from high levels from Christian Churches around the world.

The archaemother with the lifeless body of Archbishop Anastas arrived on Albanian soil this tuesday morning through the Kakavija border crossing point. After a ceremony of honor was held there, the coffin was addressed to Kumanovo where homage was performed in the Orthodox Church with the participation of dozens of believers.

The homage to Janullato's honor will last two days. The funeral will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

In honor of Anastasi, five days of mourning were declared. While at the head of the Orthodox Orthodox Church of Albania was elected the metropolitan of Korca, My Lord John.
