A 34-year-old man was arrested in Skrapar after shooting with a Kalashnikov inside an apartment, endangering the lives of members of a family. 

Skrapar police announcement:

The 34-year-old man was caught and put in handcuffs after firing a Kalashnikov firearm inside an apartment and endangering the lives of family members, for weak motives.

The Kalashnikov firearm and 21 combat cartridges were seized.

After receiving the notification that around 23:00, on 20.08.2023, inside a house in the village of Potom, a firearm had been shot, the services of the Skrapar Police Station organized the work and immediately arrived at the scene, with the aim of arresting the author.

As a result of the quick actions of the Skrapar Police services, in cooperation with those of the Special Operational Force of DVP Berat, citizen LT, 34 years old, resident of the village of Potom, Skrapar, was captured and imprisoned.

The citizen LT shot with a Kalashnikov firearm at the walls of the residence of the citizen SH, 61 years old, to threaten the family members of this citizen, due to a conflict for weak motives that he had with them.

The Kalashnikov firearm with which he was shot, and 21 combat cartridges, were found and seized by the Police, as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
