These words were addressed to Arben Spahiu, the police officers who landed at his house, after the blues of Elbasan had discovered a 'BMW' type vehicle, in the Emin Matragjiu neighborhood, at the place called former Konservimi, inside which they were found weapons and fuel and it was suspected that it would be used for assassinations.

Arben Spahiu is the brother-in-law of Erjon Alibej, the latter known by the nickname 'Krymi', who is in custody after being accused of several murders and is in strong conflict with the brothers Franc and Hajdar Çopja. Spahiu will remain under the security measure of "prison arrest", while for Arsen Preci, the court set the measure of prison arrest with a term of 60 days.

In the investigation file available to News 24, it is stated that " Arben Spahiu lives a few meters away from the place where the vehicle was found and it turns out that he knew about the BMW X6 vehicle ". But he was arrested only when a cleaning worker discovered in the trash cans a bag containing weapons, hats, documents and other items.

The prosecution says that the key to the BMW X6 vehicle was also found in the bag, as well as a passport and a Greek driver's license in the name of the citizen Kostantinos Lolos, but with the photo of Arben Spahi. Meanwhile, regarding the other suspect, Arsen Preci, the Prosecutor's Office says that a message was discovered on his cell phone that he had sent to the person known as Mondi, asking him not to give his number to the police, while he was interested for BMW type car.

"In his mobile phone, 2 photos taken on February 17, 2023 were found, where in the picture are the entrance area of ​​a building, which creates the suspicion that Arseni has been observing the movements of any person", it is emphasized in the file.

From the investigations, it turned out that the BMW type vehicle was stolen in the city of Shkodra, while the license plates were stolen in Elbasan. The prosecution has not yet determined the target of the assassination, also due to the fact that Erjon Alibej and his brother-in-law, Spahiu, are in strong clashes with many characters of the world of crime in Elbasan.

The clashes between the Alibej group and the opposing Çopja group started after the incident at the Bradashesh roundabout, where Endrit Alibej and 2 other people were killed. Since 2018, the groups have executed many people, including Arjan Spahiu in Belgium./ BW
