ICITAP: We support new AMP employees in their professional growth

Meeting at the Security Academy

Deputy AMP Director General, Durim Sota accompanied by the Attaché for Assistance in Law Enforcement Affairs, ICITAP's representative for Albania, Richard Deasy and the Senior Advisor for Police Accountability from the ICITAP Program at the US Embassy in Tirana, Rick Bates visited the premises of the Security Academy today, where 17 new employees of the Agency are attending the 3-month basic training.

During this meeting, Deputy The General Director, Durim Sota, expressed his gratitude for the cooperation with the Security Academy regarding the training of the new employees of the Agency, in the field of administrative and criminal investigation, which significantly improves their professional quality. He also thanked the ICITAP program, which has provided continuous assistance in all aspects of AMP's work.

In his welcoming speech, the Attaché for Assistance in Law Enforcement Affairs, Richard Deasy, congratulated those present on their appointment, assuring them of ICITAP's support, not only in their continuing professional training, but also in their work of daily, in function of law enforcement and civil supervision of the structures defined in the law.

For his part, the Senior Advisor for Police Accountability from the ICITAP Program, Rick Bates said that the US government, the American Embassy in Tirana and the ICITAP Program are committed to providing resources, training, leadership and counseling so that employees young people of the AMP to be able to perform their duties in a professional manner.
