"The Strong One" on a Jet Ski enters among vacationers in Karaburun,

A Jet Ski-type watercraft has been blocked by the Border Police in Vlora, after it is suspected of violating the security perimeter in the Karaburun area, endangering the lives of vacationers. 

The police intervention came after reports and a video sent by citizens, showing the vessel moving near the shore, in violation of safety regulations for areas frequented by vacationers.

The vacationers have notified the State Police of the violation of the security perimeter, requesting immediate intervention to avoid danger.

The Border Police reacted by blocking the vehicle and punishing the driver according to the law. 

The vehicle was blocked at the designated point for blocking floating vehicles near SMIL, while its driver, an EU citizen, was punished with an administrative measure in the amount of 500 thousand new lek. 

In the official announcement, the Vlora Police emphasizes that:

“ Immediately after the reports and video sent by citizens to the State Police, showing a Jet Ski type watercraft that had entered the vicinity of the coast in the Karaburun area, violating the security perimeter and endangering the lives of vacationers, the Border Police services made it possible to stop the watercraft. The driver was punished with an administrative measure in the amount of 500,000 new lek. ” 

The State Police appeals to all boat drivers to respect the security perimeter and enforce navigation rules, in order to guarantee the safety of vacationers along the coastline.
