Mbrostar Bridge

The iron railings of the Mbrostari bridge in Fier were found destroyed in the early hours of this Sunday morning, as part of them ended up in the river.

It is suspected that the bridge is the result of a collision by a vehicle, while it is not known whether the vehicle left after the accident or fell into the river and was swept away by the flow of water.

The police arrived at the scene where they also found a vehicle license plate. They tried to call the person to whom the license plate belongs, but his phone turned out to be switched off.

The operatives and firefighters have combed the entire area and the course of the river, but there is nothing to be seen. The event remains unclear.
