At the time it was said that the clash between them started over pink issues, but there have always been suspicions that they clashed over a large amount of illegal money.

On May 30, 2020, he was placed a quantity of explosives in the hotel near QSUT owned by Ervin Mata. Mata has also been accused of being involved in international drug trafficking issues.
