Two of the 'heads' of the criminal group from Vlora, SPAK prosecutor

Finnish police and SPAK have cracked down on a drug trafficking group accused of bringing drugs from Spain and the Netherlands to Finland.

According to Finnish authorities, the group was led by Albanian citizens, while at Tuesday's conference, SPAK prosecutor Alfred Shehu provided details regarding the operation conducted in Albania.

According to the SPAK prosecutor, 11 arrest warrants have been issued, which have been approved by the court, while 9 of the 11 people have been arrested and work continues to capture the other two. 

But where did these groups operate in Albania?

"Two members of the group are originally from Vlora. The rest are concentrated in the Kuçova and Berat areas. Some have settled in Tirana.  They were free citizens, they also moved abroad," said the prosecutor.
