The murder of Hamdi Bylykbashi in the village of Zvezdë in Korça was discovered through the act of forensic examination, which found that the victim had extensive injuries to the head.
The doctors have specified that these injuries were caused by blows with hard objects, resulting in bone fractures and brain contusions.
The experts have come to the conclusion that Hamdi Bylykbashi died from 8 serious wounds, which did not come from a light blow to the wall or tiles, as claimed by his two parents.
In one of the rooms of the house, the police seized a hammer, which is believed to be the object with which Hamdi Bylykbashi was hit several times in the head.
The victim's parents, Hyrie and Shefki Bylykbashi, tried to hide the murder, reporting to the hospital that their son had fallen.
But while those in the hospital have presented the situation as an accidental event, in the police of Korça, husband and wife have taken different and contradictory positions with each other. Hyrie Bylykbashi, the victim's mother, during her testimony to the police, said that her son was in a drunken state.
When he returned home, his forehead was bleeding. Then the mother said that in the courtyard of their apartment, Hamdi Bylykbashi fell and hit his head on the tiles of the courtyard.
After the mother's confession, the police took the father, Shefki Bylykbash, to the questioning, who said that his son had lost his life as a result of a blow to the head.
Shefkiu and Hyria told the same version to the citizen, Ilmi Xhuti, to whom they had asked for help, so that they could take Hamdi by taxi and take him to the Korca hospital.
But during the questioning at the Police, Ilmi Xhuti, said that when he saw Hamdi's condition and the bleeding on his head, he refused to take him in the car, but they decided to call the hospital ambulance.
During the investigation, it turned out that the victim's mother, Hyrija, also lied to her daughter, Emine Hoxha. The latter stated to the police that she was called at 15:57 by her mother, telling her to go to Korça, as Hamdi Bylykbashit was very ill.
Entela was not in a position to explain the circumstances of what had happened, but went to the hospital thinking that her brother had simply been drinking again and had fallen ill.
Through these contradictions, the police of Korça have raised strong suspicions about a murder within the family, putting the Bylykbash couple and other family members under telephone and environmental surveillance.
Through the intercepted conversations, they discussed what position they would take on the event, avoiding the real version of the murder./OraNews
