Cleaning worker brutally raped in Vlora, two young men arrested

Vlora Police have identified and subsequently arrested the suspected perpetrators of a brutal physical attack today against a cleaning worker.

Cleaning Company employee Kozma Kukli was attacked by two people today at around 2:00 PM, in front of the Çole market.

He received numerous injuries due to physical violence, and is currently in intensive care at the Vlora hospital.

Police say the cause of the physical attack was trivial, and that the suspected perpetrators are individuals with previous criminal records.

Vlora Police Announcement:

A 61-year-old man was raped with hard objects for weak motives, the 2 suspected perpetrators, with previous criminal records, are being detained.

The services of the Vlora Police Commissariat, after receiving a notification that in the place called "Tregu i Çoles", in the "Bashkimi" neighborhood, a citizen had been physically assaulted, organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrators.

As a result of rapid investigative actions and the review of video footage, it became possible to capture and detain the following citizens:

ES, 37 years old, resident of Vlora, previously convicted of "Intentional serious injury", committed with a firearm;

KN, 30 years old, resident of Vlora, previously convicted of "Production and sale of narcotics".

These citizens, in collaboration with each other, for weak motives, have physically violated with hard objects the citizen KK, 61 years old, resident of Vlora, who is currently hospitalized in the Reanimation ward of the Vlora Regional Hospital.

The materials were referred to the Prosecution for the criminal offense of "Intentional Serious Injury" committed in collaboration.
