The price of water will not increase! The news was announced today by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku during the presentation of the National Water Operator.

In her speech, Balluku emphasized that stronger protection for water resources will be ensured.

"Everyone comes out and says that the government will increase the price of water, but it's not true. Stronger protection for water resources will be provided. There will also be an acceleration of technological development.

We are talking about the safety of the product that is distributed to every home. We will also have a dedicated unit, part of the water production operator, built on research and technology.

"Nothing needs to be invented from scratch, today countries that God has not blessed like Albania manage to supply their market 24 hours a day using technology. This will allow us to have developments based on best international practices with all partners. It will not be necessary to have legal changes."
