NAME/ Accused of drug trafficking, 25-year-old man on international wanted list arrested!

A 25-year-old man wanted internationally for drug trafficking has been arrested. Rando Murataj, a resident of Shijak, was arrested with the intention of extradition to Italy.

The young man was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Court of Brescia, Italy, with the decision dated January 31, 2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Drug trafficking".

Police announcement:

Durrës/Successive operations to capture wanted citizens continue.

The police operation codenamed "Night in" is finalized, to capture an internationally wanted citizen.

A 25-year-old man accused by Italian authorities of drug trafficking is captured in Durrës and arrested with the aim of extradition to Italy.

As a result of the checks carried out based on information provided by police intelligence, regarding the location of a citizen on international wanted list, the services of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate of the General Directorate of the State Police, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Night in".

During this operation, a 25-year-old Macedonian citizen, resident of Shijak, was captured and arrested for extradition to Italy.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Court of Brescia, Italy, with the decision dated 31.01.2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Drug trafficking".

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
