
31-year-old Magiljan Deda, accused of cultivating narcotic plants in Lezha, has been arrested in Montenegro.

The next phase of the international operation "The Wanted" is being finalized, as a result of intensive cooperation with partners, for the localization, capture and arrest for the purpose of extradition, of citizens declared internationally wanted.
A citizen accused of cultivating narcotic plants in Lezha is captured in Montenegro and arrested with the aim of extradition to Albania.
Thanks to the information provided by the Criminal Police Department of the State Police and its exchange with the Montenegrin Police, through Interpol Tirana, it became possible to arrest in Montenegro, with the aim of extradition to Albania, the Albanian citizen:
MD, 31 years old.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, with the decision dated 23.04.2025, assigned the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment" for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.
From the investigations carried out within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Vacuum", conducted in April 2025, it is suspected that citizen MD, has collaborated with 1 citizen arrested during this operation, for the cultivation of 1640 narcotic plants, in the villages of Gocaj and Rraboshte, Lezhë. During the operation "Vacuum" about 34 kilograms of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa, packaged for sale, were seized.
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with the authorities of Montenegro, continues to work to finalize the extradition procedures of citizen MD to Albania.
