The investigation into gambling in the city of Berat revealed how a former secret service official illegally possessed classified data.
From details obtained exclusively by Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha, it is learned that on a USB, former SHISH director Aleksandër Shulla had copied data on vehicles and the civil registry system from 2008.
This USB, discovered during the search for his son's gambling, also contained data categorized as data for the criminal police of October 2008 and the department of investigation against serious crimes and a database for vehicles.
In the file in the prosecutor's possession, the conversations of the son of the director of SHISH, Pandeli Shulla, have also been revealed, who in a communication with another person about gambling, says " There is a movement from gambling", "for Albanian gambling" , the other person replies, while Shulla says "gambling and drugs".
In another conversation, Paneli Shulla says "the old man works at SHIK, he is a director, not in the field," referring to his father.
The interlocutor says, "that's why you run a gambling establishment," and Paneli Shulla replies, "But why do you need a little corruption within the family?"
Aleksandër Shulla is also accused of illegally possessing combat ammunition, while his son, Pandeli Shulla, is accused of organizing and conducting gambling in violation of the law./ TCH
