Al Nassr fans electrified by the transfer of the Portuguese star

Al Nassr's electrified fans chanted Cristiano Ronaldo's name and performed his style of post-goal celebration, dubbed 'Siiiu', in the stands as they eagerly awaited the Portuguese star's arrival in Saudi Arabia.

The footballer signed a landmark €200m-a-year deal with Saudi club Al Nassr on Friday on a two-year deal, following his bitter departure from Manchester United.

As sales of Ronaldo's new shirt skyrocketed just hours after the deal was signed, the club's fans are very excited to see their new hero in action.

In a viral video circulating on Twitter, Al Nassr fans can be seen chanting 'Ronaldo, Ronaldo' and shouting Siiiu, his famous style of goal celebration, during the Saudi Pro League match on Sunday.

The 37-year-old star left Manchester United last month after an explosive TV interview with Piers Morgan, in which the striker said he felt betrayed by the club and disrespected manager Erik ten Hag.

He represented Portugal in Qatar, where he became the first player to score in five World Cups after converting a penalty in the Group H opener against Ghana. Portugal was eliminated in the quarter-finals by Morocco.
