The derby is red, Partizan takes the lead from Tirana
Derby is red

The race for the title of champion of Albania is more open than ever. Partizan won the derby against Tirana 2-0 with goals from Mba and Cara, taking the lead over their historic rivals.

The red ones climb to the quota of 40 points, as much as the white and blue have, but they see themselves as the first, from the direct confrontations.

A match full of emotions in the national arena, which was also characterized by long interruptions. For about 30 minutes, the referee Xhaja removed the teams from the field, from fireworks and smokers, where only in the second half the game was stopped for 20 minutes.

With this triumph, Partizan confirms that it remains a contender for the title, and coach Colella saves the bench, after the great pressure created by the poor performance at the start of 2023.
