Armenia may be the last match of the national team under the direction of Edi Reja, but in the usual press conference before the friendly, the Italian technician hinted that his project with Albania will continue.
"There is a lot to fix in terms of attention in the defensive phase and composure in attack. If we had a striker who concretizes it would be different. For Armenia, the result does not matter. I am interested in the quality of the players and what they will show me so that I can rely on them for the future. So you will see some young people against Armenia", said Reja.
The national team is under a continuous process of renewal and therefore Reja indicates that his staff is keeping an eye on many young players.
"We have about 40 players that we are keeping under observation. I'm evaluating who we can get for the next qualifiers or years to come. Integration is not easy as they are different generations. I have to evaluate the qualities well", said Reja.
Hadroj, Gurishta, Hadroj, Muçi and Skuka will be starters as the coach wants to prove their qualities in such a match. The technician expressed his belief that all these players have shown values.
