26 "lions", England publishes the World Cup list, Southgate believes

"It's coming home", in the hope that their famous chorus becomes a reality, England has published the list of players assembled for the World Cup in Qatar. Gareth Southgate was under quite a bit of pressure to select the 26 players, too confused by the physical form, or some serious injuries.

The coach of the "3 lions" has left at home some players who hoped until the end, Abraham of Rome, Tomori of Milan, or James of Chelsea injured. Most of the players are the same ones who went to the "Euro2020" final at Wembley against Italy. Southgate has entrusted a shirt to Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips, who are included in the official list because they are injured. The absence of Man. United striker Jadon Sancho is noticeable.

This is the full list:

For the first and last time, England won a major tournament way back in 1966 where they were declared World Champions by defeating Germany in the final. England has at its disposal an excellent generation of players, from the most expensive to the circulation, also for years the Premier League is the strongest championship in Europe, but with the jersey of the representative they have not been able to win an important trophy.
