According to a man who knows Inter well, there is something wrong with the current team in black and white. The words are those of former president Massimo Moratti, who underlined for "Sky Sport":
"The players are there, but the imagination is a bit lacking, the surprising player who changes the game. I have high hopes for Lautaro, who has a lot of class. Other than that, Barella is doing very well, but being surprised is another thing, maybe something needs to be done in midfield".
In short, the overall quality of Simone Inzaghi's team is satisfactory, but the work is unfinished: "Inter are at the level of other contenders, but when they play decisive matches, they lose something".
Especially during the first half against Juventus, it was noticed how much of Inter's offensive production did not materialize in goals. On the contrary, the black defense concedes many goals: "Interventions are needed to avoid these things and since there is little time, the intervention could have been earlier."
However, even in this case, the feeling is bitter: "I don't mind the game, because Inter play nice matches with good teams, but then when they reach the top level, with the exception of the matches against Barcelona, they give up somehow. It must be understood if a group of players perhaps do not feel at the level of the others".
