Three Albanians in the World Cup
Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri

Switzerland will play in the 2022 World Cup with three Albanian footballers. As has been the tradition in recent years, the Helvetians will once again rely on football players of Albanian origin in the most important football activity.

Coach Murat Jakin published the official squad for the event in Qatar, which includes Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri and 20-year-old talent Ardon Jashari.

They are among the 26 footballers selected by Switzerland, which will play in Group G against Brazil, Serbia and Cameroon.
