Preferential votes in Tirana: Gonxhja, Xhafaj, Rakipi and Alimehmeti lead! Lorenca Hoxha risks Tabaku. Meta and Majko outside the Parliament

In Tirana, the counting of the candidates' preferential votes is underway, where so far, according to official CEC reports, 127 out of 1,282 ballot boxes have been counted.

The Socialist Party has received 19 mandates, which means that it will also enter seven MPs from the open list, in addition to the 12 MPs from the closed list.

In the open list so far, Blendi Gonxhja has received the most votes, followed by Fatmir Xhafaj and Ornaldo Rakipi. A place in the top seven is also for Erion Braçe, the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha, Antonela Dedejn and Anila Denajn.

What is striking is the fact that off the winning list so far are names like Pandeli Majko, Mimi Kodheli, Olta Xhaçka and Etilda Gjonaj.

The Democratic Party regained a mandate from Opportunity.

Ilir Alimehmeti remains the most voted candidate, while Jorida Tabaku is currently in a close race with Lorenca Hoxha.

Ilir Meta, Shpëtim Idrizi, Myslym Murrizi and Asllan Dogjani remain out so far.

However, the results may vary, as there are still many boxes to count.

As for small parties, Mundësia will enter the Assembly with the leader of the closed list, Agron Shehaj, while Erald Kapri will be removed from the list, while Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet will send Adriatic Lapaj, who received more votes than Endri Shabani, to the Assembly.

Arlind Qori also remains outside the Assembly, as the leader of the Together Movement is Redi Muçi, while the PSD will send the leader of the closed list, Albana Pëllumbi, to the Assembly.
