Tensions continue in CEAZ No. 40 in the capital, regarding the counting of votes for Agron Shehaj's "Mundësia" party.
Even after the return of journalists and observers to the counting hall at the "Sami Frashëri" gymnasium, the count was accompanied by protests due to those votes that Shehaj considers were unfairly declared invalid because the ballots are paler in color.
Shehaj's party is very close to a second term, so it has apparently decided to fight for every vote.
There are at least 7 votes that were initially considered invalid due to color, and which, according to Shehaj, after the contestation, were again passed to the "Mundësia" party. "They are putting their hands in to steal our mandate," Shehaj told reporters, as he was earlier seen arguing with a counter.
