During his visit to New York, Prime Minister Edi Rama met with the chairman of the board and executive committee of Turkish Airlines, Ahmet Bolat.
It is learned that at the center of the discussions between Bolat and Rama was the expansion of the fleet of "Air Albania" with two more planes.
Turkish Airlines and Air Albania have been flying to many European cities for years, mainly Italy, England and Tirana-Istanbul.
Bolat stated that it plans to strengthen the fleet, which currently consists of 3 Airbus aircraft, with 2 additional aircraft next year. After the meeting, he presented Rama with the book "20 years from the boutique to the top, 10 years to come", which talks about the journey of the company in the last 20 years.
Prime Minister Edi Rama and President Bajram Begaj are in New York, within the UN General Assembly, where Albania holds the presidency of the Security Council.
