Former deputy prime minister and deputy, Arben Ahmetaj does not stop in his battle to get justice. After consuming all three levels of the judiciary, he turned to the Constitutional Court to declare illegal the control of his co-habitant's villa.
Although on the run, he has instructed the defense lawyers to continue the appeal procedures.
The illegal control, as he calls it, has to do with the raid on the house of Eriola Hoxha's co-habitant in the Hamallaj area. The agents of the National Bureau of Investigation landed there when the socialist deputy was not present and carried out its control.
It is reported that only Eriola Hoxha was present, who, according to the defense lawyers, was put under pressure by BKH agents and her cell phone was seized with private conversations.
This control was carried out many months before the Special Prosecutor's Office received the approval of the Assembly for the removal of the immunity of MP Arben Ahmetaj. Therefore, as he has strongly opposed this decision in other levels of justice, Ahmetaj has also started it in the Constitutional Court.
Former minister Areben Ahmetaj is wanted and accused of abuse of power in connection with the incinerators. Reports are that he is in Great Britain, according to defense lawyers, but Ahmetaj has said that he will not return to Albania unless the truth comes to light.
