After the meeting of the group of deputies today in Kukës, Gazment Bardhi commented on the election of the People's Advocate in a statement for the media.
Bardhi has stated that his request to the President of the Assembly for the election of the Lawyer, came as a concern presented by the USA and the EU, for moving forward with this process.
"I have proposed that this process should not be another May 17, where the lawyer is selected while eating pizza in an office of the Assembly," Bardhi joked, while adding further that "I did not ask to sit down with Çuçi, but from the Speaker of the Assembly, in her capacity as head of the Parliament to build a transparent process between the parties".
MP Bardhi further stated that, "election processes of constitutional institutions eating pizza and smoking cigarettes with Edi Rama are unacceptable for the opposition parliamentary group".
