Socialist MP Erion Braçe has revealed that he no longer speaks to Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The reason, according to Braça, was the dismissal of Mayor Erion Veliaj by the Municipal Council and the announcement of the election date for Tirana.
The SP MP said that he publicly spoke out against Rama's decision and the Constitutional Court's decision showed that he was right.
"I am inclined towards a balance, but when I am right, I am right and I do not negotiate my right with anyone. If I said publicly that we should wait for the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the dismissal of Mr. Veliaj or the announcement of elections in Tirana, with this decision of the Constitutional Court it turns out that I was right. But with everything that is following as a discourse, I did not speak after the decision of the Constitutional Court", said socialist MP Erion Braçe during an interview on the show "This Week" on News 24.
Nisida Tufa: If I ask you what your relationship is with the Prime Minister, what is your answer? I asked you once and you told me we talk for 5 days and not for 5 months.
Erion Braçe: No, we are not talking now. I think that there should always be a pause for everyone to reflect on this relationship, which is political, work and human relations in the end, I have my beliefs and I do not want the boundaries that I set to be violated. I am inclined towards a balance, but when I am right, I am right and I do not negotiate my right with anyone.
