The Youth Forum of the Democratic Party held an election a day ago for the new head, a post which Besart Xhaferri won. But his election has brought opposition from the democrats, where one of the democrats, Fatmira Neziri, has denounced the votes in FRPD saying that they were manipulated.

She has published two photos from the list of voters, in which it is noted that people aged 38 and 39 voted, which violates the FRPD statute. According to the statute of the forum, specifically in article 6, it is stated that membership is allowed until the age of 35.

"Albanian citizens aged 15-35 join the FRPD, who accept the statute and its program, who fulfill the obligations of the Forum and who are not members of other forums and political parties," the statute states.


Democrat Fatmira Neziri writes that she has only published this part of the list, but according to her, there were also people living abroad in the list of voters. 

"2022-1983= 39 years old! Like Luli, we fill the boxes, but we are better with the accounts! Shy! I am not taking out those who lived abroad, but their names were on the lists. How correct were you with the rejoining process?! Do you really believe that you can make the people for yourself in this way?! Do you really believe that you can get young people behind you this way?! Do you really believe that people 'eat grass' and do not understand your clans and plans?! Shameful!", writes DP activist Fatmira Neziri.

The Albanian-American Evi Kokalari, who was elected to the leadership structures of the Reestablishment Commission of Sali Berisha, also made a complaint about the manipulation of the elections. Kokalari writes that he will leave the party and that he does not deal with this type of people who allow the election massacre.

Besart Xhaferi ranked first in the elections that were held the day before in FRPD, thus being declared the winner. He received 5256 votes, leaving behind the other 5 candidates. He was entrusted with the direction of the youth forum, in the elections held by the DP of Berisha. After Xhafer, the most voted is Arnold Kariqi with 1683 votes.
