Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has accused the head of the Institute of Statistics of deliberately postponing the publication of the Census data, as according to him, it turned out that the population of Albania is 1.5 million.
Berisha said that the dramatic decline in the population has come as a result of Prime Minister Edi Rama's bad governance. He also made a gloomy prediction when he said that with these increases, in the next 4 years, the population will go to what it was in 1950, or about 1.2 million inhabitants.
"They hate the Albanian nation and want to destroy it every year and more. Even today, Edi Rama's spokeswoman announced that the publication of population census data will be postponed for another 6 months. They need 6 months to bring it from the 1.5 million that came out in reality to the figure that Edi Rama wants, to cover what he created for the nation with his regime, the worst that Albanians have seen in their history, the loss in 8 years of 1/3 of the people.
My friends, at these rates Albania will be what it was in 1950 within a maximum of 4 years", declared Berisha.
