Panic moment! A 'mermaid' risks drowning in the aquarium in front of small children (VIDEO)

A professional mermaid experienced terrifying moments during a performance at an aquarium in a shopping center in South Africa.

In the video, Gabriela Green-Thompson Kay is seen jumping in the water as her tail suddenly gets tangled in some of the fake coral in the tank. For a few seconds, the frightened mermaid tries to quickly emerge on the surface of the water until she finally urgently removes her "tail".

In the end, the "mermaid" explained what happened.

“Every professional mermaid should know how to get out of her tail in an emergency. Unfortunately, my adventure broke the magic of the moment, but it also turned out to be a very good opportunity for training," said the young woman with a professional diving diploma.
