Brits are flocking to Albania as the country enjoys a surge in tourism thanks to long sandy beaches, well-priced hotels and cheap restaurants.
This is how the British tabloid "Daily Mail" starts, in a long article advertising some of the most frequented tourist cities in Albania.
"More than 120,000 UK nationals each year now visit the country - under Communist rule until 1992 - as its tourism sector enjoys its most successful year to date.
And the mountainous location on the Balkan peninsula will be even more attractive to Brits this winter when Ryanair and Wizz Air both launch cheap flights," the post reads.
From Shkodra, to Durres, Tirana, Berat and Saranda, Daily Mail examines the cheap prices of restaurants and hotels.
MailOnline's research today has found that the average meal for two at a mid-level restaurant in Albania is just £29 in total, while a beer will cost an average of £1.67.
The cheapest popular destinations out there for a meal seem to be Shkodra and Vlora where it costs just £21 for two, while the cheapest for a beer is Berat at 80 p.
Data compiled by the Numbeo cost-of-living database also reveals that Tirana is the most expensive place for a meal out, but it's still only £33 for two, while a beer is £1.70
Hotels are also very reasonable, with Booking.com data showing that hotels in Tirana cost just £41 a night for a three-star, £60 for a four-star one and £116 for a five-star one.
