There is a place on the planet where the largest seismic and volcanic movements occur, located along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. This place is called "Fiery Ring".
This area integrates up to three continents between the countries that surround it. It is surrounded by Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, the United States and Canada. In addition, the coastline that borders this area is also part of the Aleutian Islands, the coasts and islands of Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, East Timor, Brunei, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa , Tuvalu and New Zealand.
The "Ring of Fire" has a silhouette in a kind of horseshoe shape. The total area covered by this area is about 40,000 kilometers. Up to 90% of the planet's earthquakes have been recorded there, 80% of which have been among the most dangerous on the planet.
As if this were not enough, there are also 452 volcanoes within this ring. Three of the four active volcanoes on the planet are located there.
The explanation of the seismic movements of this part of the planet lies in the movement of tectonic plates and the geological activity they generate. Between them there are movements that affect each other, overlapping each other and causing earthquakes of great magnitude.
