Emel Atici, one of the Turkish soap opera actresses, was found dead under the rubble of the tragic earthquake in Turkey along with her daughter, Püryan. Turkish media write that the mother and daughter were found after a week of digging under the ruins of their house.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Emel Aici and her daughter, Püryan Aici, the valuable actress of our TV series in the earthquake disaster in our country.

For Emel Aici and her beloved daughter, for all our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake, God expresses our condolences to their families and loved ones", says the statement of the agency with which the actress signed a contract for filming the series .

Two devastating earthquakes struck parts of Turkey and Syria on Monday. The main earthquake was followed by dozens of aftershocks.

According to the latest information, more than 34,000 people have died and the number is expected to continue to rise.

Initially, the south of Turkey was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale and was felt in several countries in the region, and apart from people in Turkey, the most victims were in neighboring Syria.
