Tragedy in Greek waters, the dinghy with immigrants sinks, 3 children lose their

A tragic event has occurred in Greek waters, where a raft carrying illegal immigrants has sunk.

As a result, three minor girls of 4, 7 and 10 years old lost their lives, according to their mother.

19 people were rescued, among them eight children, the youngest of whom is only 30 days old. The rescue operation began when three migrants found themselves in the town of Chios this morning and informed the authorities about people stranded on the rocky shore of Kardamylos, Chios.

The forces of the Port Authority of Chios and the Port Station of Kardamylos tried to arrive at the scene, while the search was also carried out by sea with three boats and a helicopter of the Coast Guard.
