The publication of the "thriller" of the new video game Assassin's Creed "Shadows" has caused a revolt in Japan and not only.
The reason is that the producers of the Ubisoft company preferred to make the protagonist a black man.
The network immediately erupted in revolt, accusing them of being a "woke" company, a term used for Western companies that include in their policies people from minorities such as LGBT, or ethnic-cultural ones.
In fact, the makers of the video game, which is set in feudal Japan in the 1500s, claim that the protagonist is based on a true story.
It is about Yasuke, a person of African origin, probably from Mozambique who served as an assistant to "Oda Nobunaga". However, many have argued that Yasuke never became a Samurai, while they have warned that they will boycott the game.
