The Government of Kosovo is preparing a draft statute regarding the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian majority.

The same draft statute will be submitted to the Constitutional Court for review by the end of this month.

This is what the chairman of the European Initiative for Stability, Gerald Knaus, announced in a post on "X".

"In this regard, the Government of Kosovo is preparing a draft Statute on the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian Majority (in the context of the obligations provided for in articles 7 and 10), inspired by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, which will be submitted to the Constitutional Court for consideration until the end of May, 2024," Knaus wrote.

He adds that the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will not like such a thing.
