US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to Vjosa Osmani after leaving office.

The head of the White House congratulates the former President of Kosovo, underlining his admiration for her "bold and decisive leadership."

"We have achieved a lot together in a short period of time, especially our cooperation within the Peace Board. Kosovo's participation in this promising new initiative will play an extraordinary role in ending conflicts around the world, while simultaneously promoting freedom and well-being for both our peoples," reads the letter distributed by Vjosa Osmani.

Trump also believes that the former President of Kosovo is leaving behind an important legacy for the country, the Balkans, and Europe.
