Yesterday, the first round of presidential elections took place in North Macedonia.
The Albanian candidate of DUI for president, Bujar Osmani, announced the victory over the other Albanian candidate of the VLEN coalition, Arben Taravari.
His sympathizers gathered late in the evening at Skënderbeu Square in Skopje and celebrated with drums and tupana.
In total, Bujar Osmani was the third in the country with 16.44 percent of the votes.
In a speech in front of supporters, Osmani expressed excitedly that his victory was deep, with about 40 thousand votes more than Taravari.
