White House demands answers from Israel on mass graves in Gaza

The White House is demanding answers from Israeli authorities after the discovery of mass graves inside two of the largest hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

"We want answers," said Jake Sullivan, US President Joe Biden's national security adviser. "We want this to be the subject of a full and transparent investigation."

US officials are in contact with their Israeli counterparts regarding deeply disturbing reports of mass graves found in Gaza.

"These reports are deeply troubling," Sullivan said during a press conference. "We are in contact on multiple levels with the Israeli government. We want answers. We want to understand exactly what happened," he added.
