The presidential elections in North Macedonia have turned into a "battle" for votes between two Albanian candidates, although neither of them is close to the result to become president.
In this first round of voting, and according to the data so far from the SEC of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani leads with about 5% more votes than the other Albanian candidate, Arben Taravari.
Osmani has about 57 thousand votes and 18%, while Taravari has about 49 thousand votes or 12%. If the Albanian vote was unified, it would result, at least so far, with almost 100 thousand votes and about 31%, or almost 5% less than Gordana Davkova who leads with 36% of the votes.
