The Turkish engineer has a date: This is where the earthquake will occur in

Geophysics Engineer Prof. Dr. Övgün Ahmet Ercan has spoken about the possible earthquake in Istanbul. "I hope I'm not wrong, but there will be no earthquakes in Istanbul until 2045," said Ercan.

Ercan held a conference on what to do before, during and after the earthquake. Speaking at the conference held at the "Leyla Dizdar" Cultural Center, Ercan said: "What we have to do is to stop migration. About 2 million people have emigrated from here. The population of that region is 13.5 million. We should not be afraid. This migration must be stopped immediately."

Speaking about the future catastrophic earthquake that could hit the country, Ercan said that:
"A scientist is responsible for warning the state not only about the magnitude of the earthquake, but also about the effects of that earthquake on social life. Therefore, it is an obligation to report these events, which are said to have happened in the earthquake area, directly to the state authorities".
