Hamas suspends ceasefire agreement. The news was announced in a statement by Abu Ubaida, spokesman for Hamas' armed brigades.

The suspension of the exchange of hostages with Palestinian prisoners is postponed indefinitely, the statement said, until further notice. According to the plan of the agreement, this exchange was foreseen to take place on February 15, but this date is now considered to have been deleted indefinitely by Hamas.

The decision was made by accusing Israel of not respecting the terms of the agreement. This decision comes immediately after the statement of US President Donald Trump who stated that according to his plan for Gaza, no Palestinian will have the right to return to Gaza, as they will have other homes in another country.

The Israeli Defense Minister reacted immediately, requesting high-level military remobilization to cope with any possible scenario.

On Hamas's postponement of the exchange, he said it is a complete violation of the ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement.

Hamas released three hostages on Saturday during the fourth exchange, stipulated in the parties' agreement reached in January 2025.
