The Albanian candidate to become part of the "Wolf" Special Forces Battalion in the North Macedonian ARM was brutally beaten by his colleagues, Alsat reports.
All this happened in the framework of the selection course that has been taking place in the ARM, namely in the General Staff, for the last few days.
The identity of the Albanian captain, known to the editors of Alsat, speaks of a person with high professional training, proven in many trainings inside and outside the country and systematized in the ARM thanks to his successful graduation from the Military Academy.
The sources inform that the Albanian captain was surprisingly sent from Krivollaki to the Psychiatric Hospital in Bardovcë.
The goal, according to the same sources, but which must be confirmed by the relevant investigation, was to present him as a person with mental disabilities, which would cost him heavily in his professional career. Although it is learned from the hospital in question that he has been diagnosed with a stable and flawless mental state, a medical-legal report which could destroy the "Wolves" scenario.
The responsible person who had to record the case, and who turned out to be Albanian overnight, was replaced by a Macedonian. At least this is what Alsat sources say, which the General Staff under whose authority the "Wolves" operate have not confirmed or denied. The mobile device was not given to him, in order for the captain to avoid contact until the situation is brought under control, but then it was attempted to return it outside of the internal military procedures, namely outside of the institutional protocols.
The General Staff had no comment on the case. Unofficially, it is learned that the disciplinary commission is in the process of being formed, which must ascertain the actions of at least six members of the elite unit "Wolves". During the day, the Albanian captain was transferred to the military hospital in Skopje.
"Wolves" are the untouchable unit for other ethnic groups in the army, especially for Albanians. The unit that has been in existence since 1994 has sworn that there must not be an Albanian in their ranks, but in the last selection the number and results of Albanian candidates have been significantly more favorable compared to the results of other candidates. The motive for the brutal attack on the Albanian captain cannot be ruled out to be the intimidation of other candidates to withdraw from the race.
