Serious in Kosovo/ Patient jumps from third floor of hospital, dies on the spot

A tragic event occurred yesterday evening, around 11:15 PM, at the Regional Hospital in north Mitrovica, where a patient lost his life after allegedly jumping from the third floor of the building.

The news was confirmed by the deputy director of police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, who said that the case is being treated as a suspicious death.

"It is suspected that the patient was thrown from the third floor of the hospital. Investigations are ongoing," Elshani stated.

According to him, death was confirmed by the doctor at the scene, while the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
