He kept the dead body at home for two months, chilling details from the horror

Other shocking details have been revealed about the macabre event that happened in Greece, when the son burned his father.

It is suspected that the old man died in February.

The 57-year-old said that the reason why he burned his father's dead body was that he could no longer stand the bad smell coming from the decomposed body.

" I couldn't stand the smell anymore and I had to burn it. The old man had died in February, but I had no money to bury him, so I had to cremate him. I didn't cut it. While I was carrying him with the mattress, some parts were detached from the body ," he said in his confession.

Meanwhile, near the house where the burnt man was found yesterday, a head and a leg were found in a trash can. Information suggests that these may be human parts belonging to the elderly.

The forensic examination is expected to clarify the mysterious case.
