The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that today an action took place in Uglarë of Zubin Potok, where some weapons were confiscated.
Sveçla said that the person who was found with the weapons has been arrested and that the prosecution has already started investigations.
According to Minister Sveçla, "there will be no compromise towards crime, individuals or groups that harm the security of the country and the citizens of Kosovo".
"Our commitment to uprooting crime and removing the criminal remnants of Serbia in our country continues successfully. Weapons and explosive devices such as hand grenades, long guns, ammunition, radio communication, anti-bullet and technological equipment were discovered today by the Kosovo Police during raid in a location in Uglarë village of Zubin Potok.
The person on whom these weapons and equipment were found was arrested and the case was processed at the Prosecutor's Office. No compromise towards crime, individuals or groups that threaten the security of our country and our citizens. We will not stop working in defense of our national interests, security for our citizens' country, rule of law and order in every corner of our Republic", Sveçla wrote.
