The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, did not mention today the head of the SPAK, Altin Duman , or even the institution he leads, although in the last two weeks he has launched numerous attacks on the judiciary.
In a 2-hour speech before the delegates of the National Convention, which a few hours later will elect him as Party President, he openly attacked the internationals, while bringing to attention the experience with the Italian ambassador, emphasizing that he would declare him 'non grata'.
Meta emphasized that this is not a convention against Monika Kryemadhi. He repeated the accusations of nepotism in the party and blamed Kryemadhi for burning mandates.
Meta's long speech included many stories during his time as Prime Minister, before 2005, or even in coalition with Rama and during the President's term.
There were many references he used from Stalin, Lenin, or even Churchill.
