Rama's goal: Average pension of 400 euros in 2029

During the meeting with pensioners this morning, Prime Minister Rama said that the positive performance of the Albanian economy will translate into concrete support for pensioners.

According to the government, the objective is for the average pension for people with a full working career to reach 400 euros by 2029.

Meanwhile, for pensioners with partial years of insurance, the goal is for the average pension to reach 220 euros.

The meeting emphasized that economic growth and additional budget revenues will be used to support the third tier.

The measures introduced come at the same time as the distribution of the summer bonus for pensioners, an additional payment of 5 thousand lek.

The government has previously stated that its focus, following the wage reform, will shift to pensioners and the gradual increase in their income.
