2 cannabis parcels discovered in Tirana, one arrested and two wanted

In the village of Urë in Tirana, 2 plots were discovered in which 427 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants were cultivated.

Police announce that one of the suspected perpetrators has been arrested, while two other people are wanted.

It is also known that the two plots were guarded by two online cameras, located near the scene of the incident.

Tirana/The police operation "Coordination" continues to prevent, identify and crack down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants.

Two plots were discovered in the village of Urë, in which 427 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants were cultivated.

The 3 suspected perpetrators are identified. 1 citizen is arrested, 2 others are wanted.

In implementation of the measures set out in the national operational plan "Coordination", for the prevention, detection and crackdown on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 have intensified field controls.

As a result of checks and investigations using proactive methods, 2 plots were discovered in the village of Urë, in which 427 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants were cultivated, which were destroyed by burning.

Following the investigative and procedural actions in this case, the suspected perpetrators were identified, and citizen RM, 58 years old, was arrested, and citizens EK, 35 years old, and AM, 26 years old, all three residents of Shëngjergj, were declared wanted and work continues to capture them.

These citizens, in collaboration with each other, cultivated 427 plants in 2 plots in the village of Urë, Shëngjergj Administrative Unit, which were monitored by two online cameras, located near the scene of the incident.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
