Four French tourists arrested, accused of several thefts in Saranda (VIDEO)

Four French tourists have been arrested by police after being accused of several thefts committed in the areas of Ksamil and Saranda.

Three of the arrested, aged 21-22, were caught on September 4 in neighborhood no. 3 of Ksamil, following accusations that they had stolen from a bar.

They are suspected of having, in collaboration with each other, taken electrical items, bottles of alcoholic beverages, and damaged a "dinghy" type floating vehicle with a cutting tool.

"In Ksamil, 3 citizens PK, 21 years old, HK, 21 years old and YN, 22 years old, residents of Paris, France, were arrested in flagrante delicto, after on 04.09.2025, in a bar in neighborhood no. 3, in collaboration with each other, they are suspected of having stolen several electrical items, bottles of alcoholic beverages, and having damaged a 'dinghy' type floating vehicle with a cutting tool," said the Police.

Meanwhile, the fourth tourist, aged 27, was caught after stealing a person's mobile phone in a bar: "In Saranda, citizen BS, 27 years old, resident of Paris, France, was arrested in flagrante delicto, after on 04.09.2025, in the premises of a bar in neighborhood no. 4, Saranda, he is suspected of having stolen the mobile phone of another citizen."

The police announced that they have seized some of the stolen items as material evidence.
