He killed his neighbor with an axe/ Neighbors say: It seems unbelievable to us, God was a slave...

A serious incident happened in Shkodër at noon on Thursday.

Musa Bajraktari, 69, was shot dead with an ax by his 60-year-old neighbor, Xhemal Zeqiri. The latter has fallen into handcuffs, while the blue uniforms suspect that behind the crime lies a conflict for weak motives.

The dead body of Musa Bajraktar was found a day ago in a canal, a few meters from the house where he lived, in Postriba.

The neighbors found the body and then notified the police. Initially, death was thought to be due to natural causes, but from the investigations carried out by forensic experts, signs of violence were found.

The perpetrator of the crime left quickly, but was arrested only a few hours later, while the ax with which he hit the neighbor was also seized.

Residents of the area are shocked by the serious incident.

"He didn't even drink alcohol, we didn't know there was any problem. I can't believe what happened", says a resident.

"Two days ago I saw him pass by here, as far as we know he was a slave of God, no problem", says another resident.

The Bajraktari family has opened the mortuary doors and off camera say that they have had no conflicts with the author and his family.

The event has shocked them, while the police have taken the family of the perpetrator of the crime, who lives a few meters away from the victim's house, under protection.
